It has never been more important to ‘break the chain” of infection and the BurButler can help with this. How you may ask? by using one BurButler for each patient.
The Burbutler can be loaded with burs and processed through the complete sterilisation cycle and autoclaved with the cover on and with the burs in place. This will break the chain of infection with less handling and contamination of any of the dental burs. NO burs should be sitting chair-side in a bur stand without a cover to protect against aerosol – Leaving anything chair side will increase the risk – Covering the burs is all important. It will reduce the contamination of aerosol.
